- has limited skill in all types of building operations, and employed on simple jobs in bricklaying, painting, paperhanging, plastering, and sometimes simple plumbing.
- house repairer
- a builder's handyman (q.v.) employed on house repairing; sometimes also performs work of plumber (252) (q.v.).
