breaker feeder (rag flock making): see flock machine tender.
flock machine tender ; breaker feeder: feeds rags to breaker machine, which tears and teazes them to a degree of fineness, necessary for upholstery padding, bedding and cushion filling; attends machine generally.
trimmer's assistant: assists trimmer (504) q.v. by holding tacks, tools, etc.; may do less skilled tacking and cutting or trimming of fabric when tacked.
upholsterer's assistant: assists upholsterer (504) q.v. by covering, stuffing, cutting web, etc.; cuts and sews linings to cover padding.
