bottle machinist, bottle maker, bottle moulder ; machine bottle gatherer, machine glass bottle blower, machine glass bottle moulder
(i) gathers molten glass, "metal, on rod and transfers to moulding machine, judging amount required; pushes each mould into position for mechanical filling; starts machine, which fills mould and blows bottle by compressed air; precise duties vary according to type of machine used;
(ii) adjusts an Owen machine with great care; sees that blank moulds and finishing moulds are at same temperature, adjusting wind gauge for this; regulates oil feed and other working parts, then starts machine which automatically fills moulds by suction, blows bottles by compressed air and releases bottles into annealing kiln.

lens moulder
heats pieces of plate glass in furnace; and moulds them in die into form of lenses.
lustre maker, lamp lustre maker
a moulder (q.v.) who makes lamp lustres.
machine bottle gatherer, machine glass bottle blower, machine glass bottle moulder

moulder, presser, pressed glass maker, puncher
(i) rolls out molten glass poured into trays specially prepared for manufacture of plate glass;
(ii) pours molten glass, "metal," into moulds, or cuts glass brought by gatherer into pieces for moulds, using shears; pulls lever operating plunger on machine which makes pressed ware, e.g. , glass tiles, pavement lights, railway signal lenses; usually does not set machine; this done by fitter (210) (q.v.).
railway signal lens maker
a moulder (q.v.) who makes railway signal lenses.
stopper and marble maker
a moulder (q.v.) who makes stoppers and marbles for aerated water bottles in multiple moulds.
tablet maker
a moulder (q.v.) who makes glass tablets for signs, door plates, etc.; also makes up, as required, iron moulds into which molten glass is run, from suitable metal parts which are screwed or keyed together.
