- foreman wool sorter
; wool foreman
- directs distribution of wool to sorters (360) q.v., opening of bales, and removal of wool after sorting; must understand technique of wool sorting, and sometimes sorts fleeces himself.
- inspector, wool inspector (wool sorting)
- examines sorted wool, to ensure uniformity in sorting, and exclusion of waste and dirty wool; may also value damaged wool under buyer's authority.
- overlooker
- is responsible for running and efficiency of wool sorting department; supervises work of foremen; sometimes also does work of foreman.
- wool foreman
- see foreman wool sorter.
