- carries material, sweeps up, runs messages, and does other unskilled work in watch and clock works.
- screw maker, watch screw maker
- inserts steel or brass rod into automatic machines which cut and shape it into screws for use in watches or clocks; oils machine when necessary, and occasionally separates out waste from delivery trough; supervised by charge hand (321) q.v. .
