; horse manager, stable foreman
- is in charge of horses and stables of undertakings employing many horses; allots duties to and supervises work of grooms, stable boys (725), and also drivers, carmen (719) q.v., etc., where such groom and feed their own horses; looks after sick horses under direction of veterinary surgeon.
- horse foreman, deputy
- assists horse foreman q.v. and takes his place if he is absent.
- horse foreman, trace
- a horse foreman q.v. in charge of trace-horse drivers, to whom he allots duties.
- horse manager, stable foreman
