in charge of linoleum cork mill; directs cork grinders (639) q.v.; starts and stops' series of breaking, disintegrating, scalping, milling and dressing machines, maintains smooth running by adjusting speed of machines and conveyors, does running repairs and is responsible for condition of finally cleaned and ground cork.
